History of Zongshen

Zongshen began in 1982 as a motorcycle garage, officially founding in 1992. It produced its first motorcycle in 1996. In 2002, it became the first to earn China’s “CCC” engine certification. In 2007, it invested CNY300 million in the “Cyclone” R&D center. Zongshen won electric motorcycle championships (TTXGP) in 2013 and 2014. In 2023, it opened a RYUKA factory in Thailand, and in 2025, it launched the Cyclone RX4 450 globally.
